Have you ever purchased two brand new pairs of glasses within a 3 month period?
I have…and I’m damn proud of it. I discovered Labrabbit Optics (www.labrabbit.org) via yelp, and I can’t get enough. Coyote, the store owner and licensed optician, is a one-man show who happens to have the SICKEST selection of new, vintage, and dead stock frames in Chicago. He is knowledgeable and very helpful. Prices are reasonable and he can make prescription glasses out of any frames you fancy (including sunglasses!). I guarantee you will find your dream frames here. Oh and I happened to find two!! One of the pairs I purchased (pictured above) is the most gorgeous shade of purple. I rock these bad boys almost everyday, even to work! And I must say, I am stopped all the time by random people while I am wearing either the purple or burgundy pair. I always refer them to Labrabbit.

Not a salad eating chick
We are Chicago girls, we don’t DO salads UNLESS blue cheese, avocados and bacon are involved. I might as well run to the McD’s across the street, order up a crispy chicken snack wrap w/ a side of fries and a diet. I’d feel the same way about myself after… like a big fat PRETENDER! what is the point.
But I think I may have found a solution to my anti veg attitude problem…

It’s 1 part soy sauce to 3 parts Italian dressing mixed with a little black pepper. Good easiness to tastiness ratio. Imagine having it w/ blue cheese, bacon and avocados though!?!?!! yum-o.
